On that day, medical staff and employees of Jasaeng Korean Medicine Hospital set up a temporary clinic near Yeongdong 5 Bridge along Yangjaecheon Stream in Gangnam-gu and provided various medical services to about 500 citizens participating in the event. Customized health consultations were offered along with acupuncture treatments based on symptoms, and taping was applied in cases where instability of joints such as ankles and knees was a concern.
According to Jasaeng Korean Medicine Hospital, walking exercise greatly helps prevent various adult diseases and musculoskeletal disorders by strengthening the spine and joints and promoting blood circulation. However, suddenly increasing walking distance or continuing to walk for a long time with incorrect posture can rather put a burden on the spine and joints, so caution is necessary. Accordingly, Jasaeng Korean Medicine Hospital dispatched medical staff to the Health Manbo event to thoroughly prepare for musculoskeletal injuries that may suddenly occur among participants during the event.
