S-OIL is providing safety protection equipment for social workers.
On the 11th at 5 p.m., S-OIL announced that it had delivered 15 million KRW for the purchase of safety protection equipment for social workers to the Ulsan Community Chest of Korea office.
Attendees at the event included Jeon Young-do, Chairman of the Ulsan Community Chest of Korea, Lee Hyun-joo, President of the Ulsan Social Welfare Center Association, and Oh Seok-dong, Executive Director of S-OIL.

View original imageRecently, as cases of workers at social welfare facilities and public institutions suffering from violence and verbal abuse by malicious complainants have been increasing, S-OIL has rolled up its sleeves to address this issue.
S-OIL has decided to support safety protection equipment and training so that social workers can effectively respond to crisis situations.
Oh Seok-dong, Executive Director of S-OIL, said, "I have heard that social workers often carry out their duties while exposed to danger," adding, "I hope that the safety protection equipment provided this time will allow social workers to work in a somewhat safer environment."
Jeon Young-do, Chairman of the Ulsan Community Chest of Korea, expressed gratitude, saying, "We thank S-OIL for supporting safety protection equipment not only for marginalized neighbors but also for the safety of social workers," and added, "S-OIL has been a great help to the local community through continuous sharing activities."
