'2023 Hwaseong Mobility Exhibition' Held on 17-18
Hyundai Motor, Kia, and Over 60 Companies Participate
Hwaseong City, Gyeonggi Province, announced on the 10th that it will hold the '2023 Hwaseong Mobility Exhibition' for two days from the 17th to 18th at the SINTEX Exhibition Hall (Suwon Science College).
Hosted by Hwaseong City and organized by the Hwaseong Industrial Promotion Agency, this event was prepared to promote the excellence of Hwaseong's mobility industry and companies, and to support participating companies in exploring overseas markets and investment connections.
At this exhibition, more than 60 companies including Hyundai Motor Company and Kia will participate to showcase their products and technologies. The venue will also host ▲ export, win-win growth, and investment consultation meetings ▲ forums ▲ safety experience events, among others.
During the event, Hyundai Motor Company will present the 'Ioniq 5N' and the new 'Santa Fe,' while Kia will showcase the 'EV6' and 'EV9.' Additionally, Voltline, a developer of Urban Air Mobility (UAM) aircraft, will introduce the ‘single-seat aircraft Skyla,’ and Poen, an electric vehicle battery company, will present sustainable eco-friendly technology called 'battery remanufacturing.'
The city confirmed the participation of 55 buyers from 17 countries in the export consultation meeting, and in the investment consultation meeting, about 10 promising local companies will conduct IR presentations and one-on-one investment consultations targeting well-known domestic venture capital (VC) firms.
Team Leader Oh Geon-young from Shinhan Bank and Professor Kwon Yong-ju from Kookmin University will conduct a forum on the theme of ‘Issues in the Global Financial Market and Future Mobility Technology Trends,’ and in collaboration with Korea Expressway Corporation, a 'seatbelt simulator experience zone' will also be operated.
In addition, various events for general visitors will be held, including drone education by professors from the Department of Smart Logistics Drones at Jangan University, e-mobility experiences such as electric kickboards and electric bicycles by the Korea Smart E-Mobility Association, and domestic-imported car comparison experiences.
