A Ministry of Foreign Affairs official stated, "As of 11 a.m. Korean time today, there have been no reports or confirmations of damage to our citizens." There are approximately 570 Koreans residing long-term in Israel, including about 290 in Jerusalem, around 210 in central areas such as Tel Aviv, and about 70 in other regions. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also provided safety guidelines to local residents and travelers through the Overseas Safety Travel website the previous day.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs official urged, "In the event of a rocket attack alarm, please promptly move to adjacent buildings, public shelters, or indoor shelters, and stay away from places where you may be exposed to glass shards from windows or rocket fragments to ensure your personal safety."
