Gangnam-gu Hosts 'Youth Digital DNA Festival'
Special Lecture by Popular Science YouTubers, Coding Competition, Future Technology Experience, and Career Exploration at Ilwon Eco Park on the 6th
Gangnam-gu (Mayor Jo Seong-myeong) held the "1st Gangnam Digital DNA (Dream New Area) Festival" on the 6th at Ilwon-dong Eco Park (Ilwon-dong 4-12), where youth could freely experience future technologies such as AI and coding.
The event operated ▲expert lectures ▲coding competitions ▲future technology experience centers ▲career experience booths so that the youth, the main participants of the festival, could enjoy lectures and hands-on activities and even design career paths in the 4th industrial revolution. In particular, the coding competition was the result of the "Digital Education Visiting Schools" initiative, launched for the first time this year by Gangnam-gu to nurture future talents. Fifteen teams presented project works creating a smart city Gangnam in areas such as environment, transportation, school, and daily life.
