Gyochon Franchise LLC, a subsidiary of Gyochon F&B's US corporation, announced on the 6th that it opened the first Gyochon Chicken store on Kiamoku Street in Honolulu, Hawaii, on the 29th of last month.
Kiamoku Street, where the first Gyochon Chicken store in Hawaii is located, is considered one of the main commercial districts in Honolulu. Large shopping facilities such as Walmart, Ross, and Ala Moana Center are concentrated there, and it is adjacent to Waikiki Beach, resulting in high foot traffic.
The Hawaii store exclusively sells side menus composed of K-food, including Gyochon's signature menu, tteokbokki, Salsal rice bowl, garlic butter fried rice, and kimchi fried rice.

Gyochon Franchise LLC signed a franchise agreement with a local distributor in April last year. Gyochon plans to open four additional stores in Hawaii within the next two years. Song Won-yeop, Innovation Leader of the New Growth Strategy Division at Gyochon F&B, said, "We are pleased to promote Korean food culture in Hawaii, a world-renowned resort, through chicken, a representative of K-food, and the Gyochon brand." He added, "We will continue to actively develop overseas markets so that people around the world can enjoy the authentic taste of Gyochon."
