Busan City Utilizes 'Busan Munhwa Geulpan'... Promoting Support for 2030 Busan World Expo Bid
November 7 to 28, Promotion for 2030 Busan World Expo Bid on Busan City Hall Exterior Wall
Using Busan Cultural Billboard to Deliver Bid Support Messages... Spreading Busan Citizens' Enthusiasm for the Bid
From the 7th until November 28th, Busan City will display promotional messages wishing for the successful bid of the ‘2030 Busan World Expo’ in place of the 2023 Busan Culture Billboard Autumn edition on the exterior wall of the Busan City Hall.
This decision was made because the host city for the 2030 World Expo will be determined on November 28th, and it was agreed that displaying messages supporting the bid for the 2030 Busan World Expo on the exterior wall of Busan City Hall would be most appropriate.
Mayor Park Hyung-jun stated, “I hope that the message of hope and aspiration for the successful bid of the 2030 Busan World Expo will be shared and supported not only by the citizens of Busan but by all the people of the nation.”
The call for submissions for the ‘2023 Busan Culture Billboard Winter edition’ messages, which will be posted in early December this year, began on October 1st.
The submission period runs until the 31st, and the message should be a short phrase of no more than 25 Korean characters that conveys love, hope, or warm feelings. Entries can be original works or excerpts from literary works.
