Kim Haeng on Cryptocurrency Allegations: "I Am Not a Coin Jang-i"
At the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family Minister's Confirmation Hearing
Kim Haeng, the nominee for Minister of Gender Equality and Family, strongly denied allegations related to virtual currency (coins), stating, "I am not a coin trader."
During the confirmation hearing held by the National Assembly's Gender Equality and Family Committee on the 5th, Kim responded this way to questions from Moon Jung-bok, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea.

He then asked, "Can you disclose the coin wallet?" to which Kim countered, "Our company has never dealt with Steemit or coins even once."
When Moon attacked, saying, "You made money from this. Don't lie," Kim rebutted, "I am not a coin trader. Please do not say that."
During this process, there was also a clash between ruling and opposition party lawmakers. Kim prepared a chart showing the current status of major media companies paying coins related to articles concerning coins. When Kwon In-sook, chairwoman of the Gender Equality Committee, requested not to use charts unrelated to the pre-submitted materials, ruling party lawmakers protested.
