A man in his 40s sent to prosecution for fatally beating an unknown male at school
A man in his 40s who fatally assaulted a stranger at a high school in Seoul has been handed over to the prosecution.
On the 5th, the Gangseo Police Station in Seoul announced that they had arrested and sent a man in his 40s, identified as Mr. A, to the prosecution on charges of injury resulting in death, trespassing, and theft.
Mr. A is accused of fatally assaulting a man in his 40s with punches and kicks at the entrance of a school in Deungchon-dong, Gangseo-gu, Seoul, on the morning of the 25th of last month. Police, responding to a report from the school security guard, searched the area around the school and arrested Mr. A, who had fled the scene. At the time of arrest, Mr. A was intoxicated.

The police determined that neither Mr. A nor the victim had any affiliation with the school and that they were strangers to each other. It is understood that a dispute occurred when Mr. A attempted to enter the school and the victim tried to stop him.
