Icheon City to Host 'Icheon Healing Pet Fair' Companion Animal Festival on the 28th
Presenting Various Education, Experience, and Performances
Gyeonggi-do Icheon City is hosting a pet festival.
On the 5th, Icheon City announced that it will hold the "1st Icheon Healing Pet Fair" on the 28th at the Icheon Ceramic Art Village (Yes Park) Grand Performance Hall.
The city explained that this event was prepared as part of the "Pet-Friendly Tourism City" initiative, including the "Pet Theme Park" project.
The event will offer various educational programs such as behavior correction, health consultations, grooming and hygiene, as well as experiential programs like pet food cooking classes, making pet supplies, and "Gyeonsaeng Ne Cut" photo sessions. There will also be performances such as a disc dog competition.
During the event, the city has also prepared content that non-pet owners can enjoy, including connections for adopting abandoned animals, healing concerts, flea markets, and food trucks.

An official from Icheon City said, "As the number of citizens living with pets increases, we felt the need to prepare various related policies, which led to planning this event," adding, "We hope the Icheon Healing Pet Fair will become a good stepping stone for both pet owners and non-pet owners to come together."
