KT and EBS Sign MOU to Integrate Educational Content into AI-Based Education Platform
Partnering with EBS to Realize Future Education and Strengthen Public Education Competitiveness
Combining KT Learning Engine Technology with EBS Dedicated Learning Content

KT announced on the 5th that it will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with EBS (Korea Educational Broadcasting System) to collaborate on AI (Artificial Intelligence) future education digital innovation projects. Through this agreement, they plan to combine AI-based education platforms with high-quality educational content to cooperate in various fields.
The two organizations agreed to jointly work on ▲advancing AI-based education business models ▲planning and developing new businesses based on educational data ▲discovering business opportunities and collaborating on AI teaching and learning platform projects ▲exploring and cooperating on educational welfare business opportunities ▲discovering new businesses based on policies from the Ministry of Education and educational institutions, as well as joint research and commercialization.
Going forward, KT plans to enhance its AI-based future education platform (AI teaching and learning platform) and expand services to provincial and metropolitan offices of education nationwide. In particular, about 800,000 carefully selected EBS learning-exclusive contents will be combined with KT’s AI learning engine technology to recommend personalized content to learners.

Park Jeong-ho, Executive Director of KT’s Customer DX Business Unit, stated, “This MOU signing aims to provide a customized educational environment beyond offline education based on KT’s AI-powered edutech capabilities,” adding, “The two organizations will work closely together to establish the standard for future education.”
