Cheongsong-gun Launches Special Inspections of Restaurants Ahead of Autumn Foliage Season
Cheongsong-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, is conducting guidance and inspections of about 600 general restaurants in the area from the 18th of last month until October 20th.
This guidance and inspection are being carried out to create a clean and hygienic restaurant environment for tourists visiting Cheongsong during the autumn foliage season, to provide safe food, and to enhance the clean image of Cheongsong-gun, known as an oxygen cafe.
The county has formed an inspection team consisting of the hygiene team and consumer food hygiene monitors to inspect general restaurants and promote food poisoning prevention and improvement of food culture.
The main inspection items include ▲ compliance with hygienic handling of food, etc. ▲ storage and use of expired food products ▲ compliance with preservation and storage standards of food ingredients ▲ whether health checkups are conducted for business owners and employees.
