Gyeongbuk Office of Education Announces Recruitment Exam for 469 Public and Private Secondary School Teachers
The Gyeongbuk Office of Education (Superintendent Lim Jong-sik) announced on the 4th that it will post the implementation plan for the 2024 academic year competitive examination for the selection of candidates for public and private secondary school teachers, as well as health, librarian, professional counselor, nutrition, and special (secondary) teachers on the Gyeongbuk Office of Education website.
The total number of hires is 469, with 294 public school teachers and 175 private school teachers.
For public schools, 294 secondary teachers in 25 subjects, including health, librarian, professional counselor, nutrition, and special (secondary) teachers, will be selected (including 23 positions reserved for persons with disabilities).
Private secondary school teachers will be selected for 175 positions in 27 subjects commissioned by 50 private school corporations.
Applications will be accepted from 9:00 AM on October 16 to 6:00 PM on October 24 through the NEIS online teacher recruitment system.

The first exam will be held on November 25, 2023, the second exam on January 17, and from January 23 to 24 next year, with the final successful candidates announced on February 8 next year.
