Suwon City to Host 'Senior Job Fair' at Haenggung Square on the 11th
The city of Suwon in Gyeonggi Province will hold the "2023 14th Senior Job Fair" at Haenggung Square on the 11th from 1 PM to 5 PM.
This event is a job fair for seniors aged 60 and over, hosted by the Suwon Senior Private Employment Support Council, including Suwon City, Suwon Senior Club, and the Jang-an, Paldal, Gwonseon, and Yeongtong District branches of the Korea Senior Citizens Association, and organized by the Suwon Senior Club.
The main recruitment fields are security, cleaning, cooking, and kitchen assistance, with more than 15 companies participating to hire over 30 people.
Job seekers can have an on-site interview after document screening or visit the companies later for an interview.
Any citizen aged 60 or older residing in Suwon can participate.
Suwon City will operate a first-round integrated interview booth, direct interview booths, a special booth for nursing facility recruitment, and senior job promotion booths (Suwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Suwon Employment and Welfare Plus Center).
Additionally, employment support services such as job counseling, interview clinics, resume writing advice, and resume and business card photo shoots will be provided at the event.

A Suwon city official stated, "We will actively connect private companies with seniors seeking jobs to discover niche job opportunities," adding, "We hope this helps companies resolve their recruitment difficulties and enables seniors to lead active and stable lives in their later years."
