[Asian Games] Korea Squash Concludes Tournament with One Bronze Medal
Korean squash concluded the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games with one bronze medal.
The mixed doubles pair Lee Dong-jun (Gyeongnam Sports Council) and Yang Yeon-su (Jeonnam Provincial Office) lost 1-2 (4-11, 11-8, 1-11) to India's Anahat Singh and Abhay Singh in the quarterfinals held on the 3rd at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center in China.
The pair Yoo Jae-jin (Busan Sports Council) and Eom Hwa-young (Incheon Sports Council) also failed to advance to the semifinals after losing 0-2 (5-11, 6-11) to Malaysia's Aifa Azman and Mohammad Kamal.
In the women's singles, Heo Min-kyung (Gyeongnam Sports Council) was defeated 0-3 (4-11, 2-11, 8-11) by Malaysia's Subramaniam Sivashangari in the quarterfinals.
Accordingly, the Korean squash team has completed all their matches in this tournament.
