Youth Merchant Festival Held at Wangsimni Square on the 7th
Seongdong-gu, Seoul (Mayor Jeong Won-oh) will hold the '2023 Youth Merchants Festival' at Wangsimni Square on the 7th from 12 PM to 5 PM. This festival, organized and participated in primarily by young merchants of Seongdong-gu, is being held for the first time this year to provide opportunities for youth and to invigorate the local community.
Young merchants will sell homemade Makgeolli, perfumes, decorations, and other items, and there will also be booths offering unique food. As a side event, an experience zone will be operated where visitors can enjoy face painting and tarot readings.
At the festival site, labor and youth job consultations will be available, and busking performances by young artists will be held. This event is a youth-centered, customized festival where young merchants and local residents can communicate and enjoy various experiences together, celebrating young culture and arts.
