The Suncheon Bay International Garden Expo surpassed 7 million visitors at 4:22 PM on September 29, and on September 30, it recorded a daily high of 215,800 visitors since its opening, entering the final countdown to achieving the target of 8 million visitors.

The Suncheon Bay International Garden Expo, at its peak with 100 million chrysanthemums in golden and orange waves and colorful cosmos flowers in full bloom, along with the free space of Ocheon Green Plaza featuring green lawns, Ocheon Hill, themed performances, fountain shows, and Eosing-gil, and the beautiful silver reeds glowing in the red sunset at Suncheon Bay Wetland?an area twice the size of Seoul's Yeouido?was bustling with visitors during the Chuseok holiday.

Lee Sang-jin (70, retired principal), who lives in the Shindae district of Suncheon, said, "I’m glad we chose Suncheon for our family gathering this Chuseok. My family was happy and satisfied after visiting the Garden Dream Ship and the Korean Garden, French Garden, Dutch Garden, and other country-specific gardens. We are also looking forward to the large-scale performances at Ocheon Green Plaza." He added, "I highly recommend Suncheon as a family travel destination this fall."

Jung Sung-tae from Incheon said with a big smile, "I walked along the Eosing-gil at the Suncheon Bay International Garden Expo, which has recently become a hot place, and toured Suncheon, the city of wetlands and gardens. It made me want to live in Suncheon."

No Kwan-gyu, chairman of the Suncheon Bay International Garden Expo, said, "To welcome autumn, we created a collaboration between 100 million chrysanthemums and the golden reeds of Suncheon Bay." He added, "I hope visitors enjoy the autumn gardens during the day and various performances at Ocheon Green Plaza at sunset for a fulfilling holiday."

Meanwhile, the Garden Expo, which opened on April 1, will continue to be spectacularly held until October 31 across the expo grounds, Ocheon Green Plaza, and the scenic garden area.
