[Asian Games] Korean Women's Golf Wins Team Silver... Yuhyeonjo Takes Individual Bronze
The South Korean women's golf team won the silver medal in the team event at the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games.
Composed of three amateur high school students?Yoo Hyun-jo (Cheonan Jungang Bangtong High School), Kim Min-sol, and Lim Ji-yu (both from Suseong Bangtong High School)?the Korean team recorded a final total of 29-under-par 547 strokes after the fourth round on the last day of the competition held on the 1st at the West Lake International Golf Course (par 72, 6,597 yards) in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China.
The gold medal went to Thailand, which scored 34-under-par 542 strokes, while the bronze medal was claimed by China with 26-under-par 550 strokes.
With this, South Korea secured second place for the third consecutive time in the women's team golf event at the Asian Games, following the 2014 Incheon and 2018 Jakarta-Palembang Games.

Additionally, in the individual event on the same day, Yoo Hyun-jo earned a bronze medal with a final total of 16-under-par 272 strokes. The gold medal was won by Arpichaya Yubol (Thailand) with 19-under-par 269 strokes, and the silver medal went to Aditi Ashok (India) with 17-under-par 271 strokes. Yoo Hyun-jo was selected for the national team for the first time this year and earned both an individual medal and a team silver medal.
