The South Korean men's 3x3 basketball team advanced to the quarterfinals as the first place team in Group B of the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games group stage. Led by coach Kang Young-hyun, the team defeated Turkmenistan 19-15 in the fourth match of Group B held on the 29th at Deqing Basketball Court in Huzhou, Zhejiang Province, China.
Following this, Japan defeated the Maldives 22-7, resulting in Iran, Japan, and South Korea all having a 3-1 record in Group B. South Korea secured the top spot in the group due to having the highest average points per game (19.5 points). The first place team in the group advances directly to the quarterfinals. The second place team plays a separate match against the third place team from Group C, with the winner advancing to the quarterfinals.
