Suncheon-si Operates 'Safe Housing Contract' Consultation Desk
Professional Licensed Realtor Jeon? Free Monthly and Jeonse Rental Consultation Service
Amid rising concerns due to the frequent occurrence of 'jeonse fraud,' Suncheon City announced that starting in October, it will operate a 'Safe Housing Contract Consultation Desk' at the City Hall Civil Service Office (Land Information Division) to create a stable residential environment.
The Safe Housing Contract Consultation Desk provides free consultation services by professional licensed real estate agents to citizens who need advice on jeonse or monthly rental contracts due to insufficient contract information. The service aims to prevent jeonse fraud by offering guidance on precautions during contracts, verification of the registry, priority rights in lease agreements, and necessary documents.
Consultations can be conducted face-to-face by visiting the Civil Service Office or via phone. Face-to-face consultations are available every Tuesday from 1 PM to 4 PM and require prior reservation, while phone consultations can be accessed anytime through the consultation desk to receive professional licensed real estate agents' advice.
A Suncheon City official stated, "We hope that citizens facing difficulties in obtaining real estate information such as priority rights before signing jeonse or monthly rental contracts will acquire essential contract information through consultations with professional licensed real estate agents and safely conclude their contracts. We encourage many to use this service."
