In the ‘Shillim 1 Redevelopment Promotion Zone Housing Maintenance-type Redevelopment (Shillim-dong, Gwanak-gu)’ project located at Seoul National University Venture Town Station on the Shillim Line subway, 4,188 apartment units (631 public units, 3,557 sale units) and neighborhood living facilities will be constructed. In particular, it was designated as a ‘Special Architectural Zone,’ improving plans for building placement and form to secure sunlight, and significantly securing green spaces both inside and outside the complex.
The Architecture Committee confirmed the additional construction of resident community facilities (2,796㎡) such as daycare centers, small libraries, and senior centers within the complex, designated it as a ‘Special Architectural Zone’ planning three times the legally required landscaping area, sufficiently securing green space within the complex, and utilized the Dorimcheon waterfront space to create a riverside specialized street and a pedestrian-centered road on the ground level.
Additionally, various residential building types such as landscape type, tower type, slab type, landmark type, and terrace type were introduced, and a waterfront space was created around the covered stream passing through the center of the complex, installing lifestyle-oriented auxiliary welfare facilities.
The ‘Yongsan Hospital Site Apartment Construction Project (Hangangno 3-ga, Yongsan-gu)’ is located near Yongsan Station on Subway Line 1 and Sinyongsan Station on Line 4. It will include 610 apartment units (84 public rental units, 526 private rental units), neighborhood living facilities, cultural and assembly facilities.

Open terraces were applied to common areas to improve the residential environment for residents to use comfortably.
Furthermore, while securing openness of the public pedestrian passage, the flow lines of resident convenience facilities such as daycare centers and senior centers, as well as neighborhood living facilities, were improved to ensure safe and convenient use by citizens.
