According to the food and beverage industry on the 30th, Gongcha Korea recently introduced the ‘Double Peach Drink + Coconut Jelly.’ By combining two different peach bases, ‘Baekdo’ and ‘Hwangdo,’ consumers can enjoy the sweet and rich flavor of peach, while the chewy coconut jelly topping harmonizes perfectly to provide a perfect taste combination and an enjoyable texture.
Subway unveiled a ‘honey combination’ sandwich personally selected by brand model Cha Eun-woo. The ‘Cha Eun-woo Menu’ allows customers to enjoy the exact customization combination that Cha Eun-woo actually prefers. The chicken breast sandwich ‘Roast Chicken’ is served on ‘Wheat Bread’ with six types of fresh vegetables including lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onion, bell pepper, and olives. There is a ‘meat addition’ option to add one more slice of the main ingredient, roast chicken, and an additional topping of ‘avocado.’ The sauce includes ‘extra virgin olive oil.’
New products using honey combinations that have become popular on SNS are also noticeable. HiteJinro launched ‘Jinro Tonic Black Tea’ based on the recipe of SHINee’s Key, which gained attention on SNS last year. This product sold 3.5 million bottles in about four months after its release.
Woongjin Foods also released a seasonal limited new product called ‘Victoria Highball Flavor,’ which adds whiskey aroma to sparkling water. This drink was newly introduced following the recent popularity of highballs, reflecting the fact that Victoria sparkling water is especially used in trending highball recipes, and it was launched to be enjoyed on its own as well.
