Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, will provide special meals to prevent a gap in meals for the elderly due to the closure of senior cafeterias during the Chuseok holiday period.
From the 26th to the 27th, the district will provide food such as abalone porridge, samgyetang (ginseng chicken soup), and songpyeon (rice cakes) to 635 elderly people at risk of missing meals through five welfare centers in the district, including Deobureorak Senior Welfare Center.
