Nowon District Mayor Oh Seung-rok Joins Drug Eradication 'NO EXIT' Campaign
On the 26th, Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, Seoul, participated in the drug eradication ‘NO EXIT’ campaign.
The drug eradication ‘NO EXIT’ campaign is a nationwide drug crime prevention campaign promoted by the National Police Agency in collaboration with the Drug Eradication Movement Headquarters since April. It aims to raise awareness of the seriousness of drugs and foster vigilance against crime to prevent drug-related crimes in advance.
On the 14th, Oh, who was nominated by Lee Dong-hoon, President of Seoul National University of Science and Technology, participated in the campaign by holding a signboard with the phrase “No exit maze, NO EXIT drugs, never start” and took a photo, then joined the relay by posting on his personal Facebook account.
Mayor Oh nominated Lee Soon-hee, Mayor of Gangbuk District, and Oh Eon-seok, Mayor of Dobong District, as the next participants in the campaign.
The district is conducting prevention and publicity campaigns in academy areas, villages, and university festivals in cooperation with related organizations such as Nowon Police Station and Nowon District Mental Health Welfare Center to eradicate drugs. Additionally, to block the early spread of drug crime victims, Nowon District Public Health Center is also conducting free anonymous drug tests.
