According to the West Sea Regional Headquarters on the 26th, this visit was part of a comprehensive holiday livelihood measure inspection, where Commissioner Kim personally checked the Gunsan, Mokpo, and Tongyeong areas to ensure safety during the Chuseok holiday and facilitate communication. The visit aimed to listen to the vivid voices of those working in the marine and fisheries sectors and reflect on necessary improvements.
Commissioner Kim emphasized the prohibition of food fraud such as origin mislabeling, smuggling of high-demand items during the Chuseok holiday, and distribution disorder caused by hoarding. At the live fish sashimi plaza, he actively participated in purchasing seafood to encourage consumer involvement.
