Support has been provided in various ways, including top exposure on the application (app) and professional photography and editing. Over the past three years, more than 1,600 stores in 135 markets nationwide have entered the online market through this program.
'Cheonjinmanna,' which sells jokbal (pig's trotters), dumplings, and twisted doughnuts at Dongducheon Jungang Market in Gyeonggi Province, also saw its sales increase by about 30% after joining Coupang Eats. This came just one month after Coupang and the Dongducheon Small Business Association in Gyeonggi signed a win-win agreement to revitalize traditional markets last August. Park Gangseok, CEO of Cheonjinmanna, said, "Regular customers are gradually appearing online. If I had known it would help sales, I would have started a little earlier."
