Cho Ho-gwon, Yeongdeungpo-gu Mayor, Participates in Chuseok Love Songpyeon Sharing Volunteer Service
Choi Ho-gwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, practiced neighborly love by participating in a Songpyeon sharing volunteer event on the morning of the 25th at the public site in Mullae-dong (55-6 Mullae-dong 3-ga) to celebrate the Chuseok holiday.
Organized by the Yeongdeungpo District Council of the Korean Red Cross Volunteer Society, this sharing event was prepared with the hope that neighbors who have to spend Chuseok alone can have a warm holiday.
On this day, about 20 members of the Korean Red Cross Volunteer Society, including Mayor Choi, participated and filled holiday packages with food items such as Songpyeon, noodles, and soy milk. The holiday packages will be delivered to 200 households, including elderly people living alone and single-parent families in each neighborhood.
