Korea Racing Authority Let's Run Park Busan·Gyeongnam held the 74th anniversary ceremony of the Korea Racing Authority on the 21st.
The Korea Racing Authority began as the 'Joseon Horse Racing Club' in 1922, changed to 'Joseon Racing Authority' in 1942, and after liberation, was renamed 'Korea Racing Authority' on September 29, 1949, continuing to the present.
The ceremony was attended by executives and employees, owners, trainers, jockeys, groomers, producers, and related horse racing organizations.
The event proceeded in order with an opening performance, a report on the history, and an awards ceremony, followed by a satellite broadcast of Chairman Jeong Ki-hwan's commemorative speech and congratulatory messages from related horse racing organizations.
In his commemorative speech, Korea Racing Authority Chairman Jeong Ki-hwan expressed gratitude to the executives and employees, related horse racing organizations, and horse racing fans who love horse racing, and presented the direction for the Korea Racing Authority on its 74th anniversary.
According to the revised Korea Racing Authority Act in June, the long-awaited online betting ticket sales are scheduled for pilot operation in December.
