Haitai Confectionery Introduces Healthy Pea Snack 'Snaepi Crisp'
Baked with Hot Air Without Frying
High Protein and Dietary Fiber Content
Haitai Confectionery announced on the 25th that it will launch 'Snaffy Crisp,' a pea snack made by baking with hot air.
Snaffy Crisp means 'a crispy snack made from beans.' It is characterized by being baked with hot air instead of fried in oil, preserving the nutrition and the mild, savory taste of peas.
The company explained that the new product contains 8 pea pods per bag, making it the highest in protein content among domestic snacks, and also includes dietary fiber, making it a healthy snack. It contains about the same amount of protein as 30 almonds and dietary fiber equivalent to 2 bananas, allowing consumers to enjoy a snack while taking care of their health.
It uses Canadian peas, renowned for their world-class quality through organic farming, and features sour cream seasoning that enhances a rich, mild, and savory flavor. The shape is modeled exactly after pea pods, adding a fun element.
