Bio and Medical Companies Seminar Held
The Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority (Commissioner Kim Byung-sam) held a bio and medical company scale-up seminar titled "The Future of Bio Companies and Corporate Growth" on the 22nd at the Inter-Burgo Hotel in Daegu city.

It was attended by about 100 participants including companies, institutions, organizations, and bio-related experts.
The seminar held that day proceeded in the order of antiviral drug development trends (Professor Jung Nak-shin, Seoul National University College of Pharmacy), success strategies and IPO of bio ventures (Jang Myung-ho, CSO of GI Innovation), the elderly disease treatment market and current status (Jo Yang-je, CTO of iGene), and indoor farm technology and bio-material convergence industry (Choi Jae-bin, CEO of NextOn).
