The Ministry of Employment and Labor will begin a special labor inspection on the 22nd for 'Sunjung Chukhyup,' located in Sunchang, Jeonbuk, which caused social controversy due to assault and harassment of employees. To this end, the Ministry has formed a special labor inspection team of about 10 members at the Jeonju Regional Employment and Labor Office.
This special inspection is the fourth special labor inspection conducted this year, following Jangsu Nonghyup, The K-Tech, and Test Tech, which caused social controversy due to workplace harassment.
This special labor inspection is conducted under the principle of "carrying out special inspections without exception" for companies causing social controversy such as assault and workplace harassment. The Ministry of Employment and Labor plans to strictly respond to illegal acts by employers, including focusing on violations of labor-related laws throughout the workplace and pursuing legal action.
