On the 21st, Governor Kim held a "Small Business Livelihood Economy Policy Meeting" at the Gwanggyo Government Complex and said, "Many small business owners say they would like to receive integrated guidance on the differences between the work done by the Gyeonggi Market and Commercial Promotion Agency and the Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation," adding, "Although it may sound clich?, it would be good to establish an integrated service like a one-stop service."
He continued, "Although tax revenue is insufficient, we must actively use the budget. Gyeonggi Province has allocated funds for special guarantees for small businesses and SMEs," emphasizing, "The economy will be very difficult in the second half of this year and the first half of next year. The more difficult it is for small businesses and SMEs, the more we need to support them to sustain and create a foundation for recovery."
The meeting was organized to bring together various economic stakeholders to communicate and collaborate in overcoming an unprecedented livelihood economic crisis caused by soaring prices, rising interest rates, and increased energy costs.
The meeting proceeded with ▲ explanation of Gyeonggi Province's small business policies ▲ demonstration and promotion of ‘Gyeonggi Baro,’ a small business document simplification service using Ministry of the Interior and Safety data, the first of its kind among local governments nationwide ▲ and a Q&A and discussion session.
Before the discussion, a demonstration of ‘Gyeonggi Baro,’ a 24/7, year-round, document-free and visit-free one-stop document simplification service for small business owners, which was first established nationwide by Gyeonggi Province, was held.
