Anti-Corruption Integrity Campaign and Integrity Pledge Ceremony Held
All members and staff of the Gyeongnam Provincial Council conducted an anti-corruption integrity campaign on the 21st.
The campaign was organized to establish a clean and trustworthy image of the Provincial Council, and furthermore, to strengthen the integrity awareness of the organization’s members and spread a culture of integrity.

View original imageFirst, to signify that various habitual corrupt practices such as fraud, corruption, and solicitation that still exist in our society will no longer be tolerated within the council, participants popped balloons with corruption-related phrases, raising their determination to improve integrity.
Additionally, to share their thoughts on integrity, council members and staff wrote integrity messages which were posted in the lobby, reflecting on the organization’s integrity awareness and promoting a culture of integrity within the organization.
Along with the campaign, an integrity pledge ceremony was held. The pledge included commitments to creating a clean public service society, prohibiting pursuit of unfair benefits, banning solicitation, and performing duties fairly.
The Gyeongsangnam-do Provincial Council plans to produce an integrity promotional video and post it on the council’s website to further spread the culture of integrity throughout the province after the campaign.

Chairman Kim Jin-bu stated, “For the Gyeongsangnam-do Provincial Council to establish itself as a trusted institution by the residents, internal organizational changes such as fostering a culture of fairness must come first. I believe this campaign has provided such an opportunity.” He added, “Going forward, we will put great effort and attention into conducting council activities that emphasize integrity, communication, and consideration, so that the council can play a central role in creating a more fair and clean society.”
