Hyundai Engineering & Construction and Naver Join Forces to Build Future-Oriented Health-Focused Housing
Business Agreement Signed for Development of AI Healthcare Platform
Hyundai Engineering & Construction is teaming up with Naver to develop a future residential model that also takes care of residents' health. By utilizing Naver's artificial intelligence, HyperCLOVA X, the two companies plan to develop an AI-powered health management service, which Hyundai Engineering & Construction will incorporate into its innovative future health-focused housing model, the "All Life-care House."
On September 21, Hyundai Engineering & Construction announced that it had signed a business agreement with Naver Cloud at its headquarters in Gye-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, to collaborate on the development of future residential models that incorporate AI and healthcare technologies.

Through this agreement, the two companies will cooperate to develop life-care services, including an AI health management platform exclusively for Hyundai Engineering & Construction's apartment complexes and healthcare solutions tailored for residents.
Naver Cloud is a leading domestic company in the IT services sector (AI and cloud), providing a variety of AI-powered services. In particular, with the release of its large-scale AI model, HyperCLOVA X, in August, it has been delivering high-quality conversational AI services based on vast amounts of Korean-language data.
Hyundai Engineering & Construction plans to develop and implement a residential AI healthcare platform that uses Naver's AI to analyze residents' genetic test results, health checkup data, real-life data, and indoor environmental conditions to offer personalized health management solutions and lifestyle recommendations.
In the future, residents of Hyundai Engineering & Construction's All Life-care House will have access to: a "Wellness Solution" that manages diet, exercise, mental health, and sleep based on AI-analyzed data; a "Medical Solution" that provides emergency response in connection with hospitals during urgent situations; and a "Health Living Solution" that creates an optimal living environment by controlling temperature, humidity, air, water, and lighting.
Additionally, Hyundai Engineering & Construction plans to enhance its built-in voice recognition system, "Voice Home"-the first of its kind in Korea-by integrating Naver's Clova CareCall AI phone care service, evolving it into a customized health care service for each household.
Furthermore, using various sensors installed throughout the living space, Hyundai Engineering & Construction will automatically operate its patented technologies such as the "Optical Plasma Sterilization and Purification Ventilation System" and the "Rapid Kitchen Ventilation System" to remove harmful substances from the home. The company also plans to utilize its IoT platform, Hi-oT System, to provide customized control of indoor air quality, temperature, lighting, and more.
Prior to this agreement, in June, Hyundai Engineering & Construction established a foundation for cutting-edge healthcare services linked to genetic analysis by forming partnerships with global leaders in the biotechnology and genetic testing sectors, such as Thermo Fisher Scientific and Macrogen in the United States.
