Kyochon F&B Appoints Vice Chairman Song Jong-hwa... Leading the Revival of Kyochon Chicken
Kyochon F&B announced on the 20th that it held the inauguration ceremony for Vice Chairman Song Jong-hwa.
The inauguration ceremony took place at Kyochon F&B headquarters in Osan, Gyeonggi Province, with Chairman Kwon Won-gang of Kyochon F&B and employees in attendance.
Vice Chairman Song is recognized as the figure who led Kyochon's revival during the market downturn caused by avian influenza, having served as General Manager and President of Kyochon F&B from 2003 to 2012. During his tenure, Kyochon made significant strides such as entering the US and Chinese markets for the first time and launching the Honey Series, marking a major turning point in growth.
Kyochon views the current situation of economic contraction and consumer downturn as a critical crisis and expects Vice Chairman Song’s leadership and crisis response capabilities to serve as a foundation for a new leap forward. Going forward, Vice Chairman Song will oversee domestic franchise operations, new growth businesses, overseas operations, and various affiliates, focusing on strengthening brand competitiveness and securing future growth engines.
