On the 20th, the agency announced that on the 19th, it had signed a business agreement with Gyeongbok University to foster high value-added new industries leading the future through digital innovation.
The agreement was promoted to achieve mutual growth and cooperation among industry, academia, and government for digital innovation between the two institutions. Local businesspeople from Namyangju, where Gyeongbok University is located, also participated in the signing ceremony.
According to the agreement, the two institutions agreed to actively cooperate in digital innovation and future new industry transformation with companies and universities located in Namyangju, Guri, Pocheon, Dongducheon, Yangju, and Gapyeong-gun.
The main cooperative projects include ▲ digital transformation seminars for fostering new industries ▲ demand surveys for companies and students for digital innovation ▲ digital twin platform construction ▲ R&D project discovery ▲ technical workforce training projects.
Kang Seong-cheon, president of the agency, emphasized, "We will share digital knowledge and experience with Gyeongbok University and jointly promote support for high value-added, new materials, and new technology development. We will strive to lead the success of digital transformation, including nurturing digital professionals through continuous education."
