"Let's Go See the Chuseok Moon Rabbit" Gwangju Science Museum Observation Event
The National Gwangju Science Museum is hosting an astronomical observation event called 'Chuseok Full Moon, Moon.'
On the 28th, the Gwangju Science Museum will hold an event at the Starlight Observatory where visitors can spend Chuseok under the beautiful moonlight. Reservations can be made online or on-site.
Participants will complete three missions: 'Finding the Chuseok Moon Rabbit with a telescope,' 'Taking photos of Saturn's rings,' and 'Viewing the moon's craters through a 1.2m large telescope.'
Those who complete the missions will receive a small souvenir to take home as a memory.
Jeon Tae-ho, Acting Director, said, "We hope this will be a happy time where people can experience astronomical observation and create precious memories with their families."
Chuseok falls on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month every year, when the full moon shines brightly.
