Participation of 7 Policy Financial Institutions Including Jungjingong and Sogongjin
Guidance on Financial Support Measures for Chuseok Livelihood Stability Plan
The Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced on the 19th that on the 21st, seven policy financial institutions will jointly hold a Chuseok holiday fund briefing session in seven regions nationwide.
The seven regions are Seoul, Busan, Daegu, Daejeon, Gwangju, Gyeonggi, and Gangwon. Participating institutions include the Small and Medium Business Corporation, the Small Enterprise and Market Service, the Korea Development Bank, IBK Industrial Bank of Korea, the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund, the Korea Technology Finance Corporation, and regional credit guarantee foundations.
Lee Young, Minister of SMEs and Startups, is delivering the keynote speech at the '2023 SME Leaders Forum' held on the 12th at Lotte Hotel in Seogwipo, Jeju.

This joint briefing session was organized to provide detailed guidance on the financial support sector of the Chuseok livelihood stabilization measures announced by the government on the 31st of last month. The government announced plans to newly supply a total of 43 trillion KRW in loans and guarantees before and after Chuseok to help small and medium enterprises and small business owners secure funds smoothly, and to underwrite 3.6 trillion KRW of accounts receivable insurance to mitigate credit risk related to credit sales.
After the fund briefing by each policy financial institution, one-on-one consultations will be provided to attendees who wish to receive them. Participants can check how to apply for funds and detailed support information.
