Gwangjin-gu Operates 'Visiting Job Center' for Closer Engagement with Residents
From September 19 to November 20, Touring 15 Community Service Centers... Operating 2 Hours a Day
1:1 Customized Counseling for Job Seekers and Employers Where Residents Are Located
Gwangjin-gu (District Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) will operate the second half of the year’s ‘Visiting Job Center’ starting from September 19.
The ‘Visiting Job Center’ is a project where professional career counselors provide customized job matching services at locations where residents are present. Since the second half of last year, the district has been visiting community service centers, employment capacity-building training centers, and various event venues to operate the job center more closely with residents.
In the first half of this year, a total of 21 sessions were held at community service centers, Sejong University’s foreign employment fair, and other locations, providing employment counseling to 105 job seekers. Among them, 43% of the 40 people who registered as job seekers at the Gwangjin-gu Job Center were connected to employment.
The second half ‘Visiting Job Center’ will start at Guui 3-dong Community Service Center on the 19th of this month and will tour 15 neighborhoods until November 20. Counseling sessions will be held once per neighborhood on designated dates from 2 PM to 4 PM.
Job seekers will receive high-quality employment information through one-on-one counseling and support to find desired jobs. Various services such as information guidance, job training, employment photo shoots, and resume editing will be provided until successful employment is achieved.
For companies facing difficulties in recruitment, excellent talents matching the hiring conditions will be introduced through job registration.
