‘Tank’ Choi Kyung-ju fell short by 1% of a comeback victory.
On the 17th (local time), at Minnehaha CC (par 70, 6,729 yards) in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, USA, he performed well in the final 3rd round of the PGA Tour Champions (Senior) Sanford International (total prize money $2 million), shooting 5 under par, but was satisfied with his best result of the year, finishing as runner-up (15 under par, 195 strokes). This marks his fifth top 10 finish of the season, following a tie for 7th place at last month's Shriners Children's Open.
