The preliminary autopsy findings suggest that Mr. A’s wife (56) and their three sons in their 20s with severe disabilities died from stab wounds. Since pesticides were found at the scene, it will be confirmed through toxicology tests whether Mr. A ingested the pesticide.
The police reported that no traces of a third party were found on the weapons discovered alongside the pesticide, the entrance door was locked, and there was no evidence of external intrusion.
Based on this, the police are placing weight on the possibility that Mr. A killed the four family members and then poisoned himself.
They are continuing to investigate the facts through nearby closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage and inquiries with related persons.
The deaths of the five family members were confirmed following a 112 emergency call by a neighbor who discovered bloodstains on a window of the house at around 3:54 p.m. the previous day.
The police, along with the fire and rescue team, arrived at the scene and found the bodies of Mr. A, his wife, and their three sons in their 20s inside the house. It is reported that the family members were found with a large amount of blood loss.
