Changwon Special City Awards 'Outstanding Public Officials' for Achievements in Priority Projects

On the 15th, Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam awarded two teams (individuals) who achieved remarkable results in promoting major city policies and key projects through proactive efforts and outstanding expertise as the 'Outstanding Public Officials of the Month.'
Park Seong-geun, a public official from the Port Logistics Policy Division, who was selected as an outstanding public official, contributed to securing approximately 2 billion KRW annually in port management funds by changing the Jinhae Port facility usage fee to local revenue.
The Fisheries Promotion Team of the Fisheries and Forestry Division in Masanhappo-gu was recognized for establishing a response system by conducting a simulation drill assuming the occurrence of sardine carcasses and for contributing to the rapid collection of marine debris during typhoons and heavy rains.
The city awarded certificates of commendation to the respective employees, provided Changwon Love Gift Certificates as prizes, and granted an additional day of special leave.
