"Korea Airports Corporation, Recognized for Excellent Governance, Wins Top Award"
2nd Korea ESG Innovation Policy Awards
Korea Airports Corporation received the Grand Prize for Governance at the ‘2nd Korea ESG Innovation Policy Awards’ ceremony hosted by the Korean Policy Association on the 15th.
This award has been given since last year to select public institutions and public enterprises that have implemented excellent policies in the ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) sector, aiming to discover, share, and spread best practices.
The corporation was recognized for achievements such as increasing gender diversity on the board of directors by appointing the first female vice president in the corporation’s history last year, introducing a worker board observer system, and implementing a labor director system to enhance governance soundness through expanded worker participation.
