Women Journalists Association to Host 'The Path to Becoming a Journalist 2023' on the 19th
The Korea Women Journalists Association announced on the 14th that it will hold a workshop titled 'The Path to Becoming a Journalist 2023' for those aspiring to work in media companies on the 19th at the Korea Press Center.
Sponsored by the Korea Press Foundation, this workshop will feature Sunwoo Jeong, Editor-in-Chief of the Chosun Ilbo, and Choi Daesik, Director of SBS News, giving lectures on the theme 'The Kind of Talent We Want,' discussing the qualities media companies seek and the skills necessary for a career in journalism.
Following this, journalists Lee Jiyoon (Dong-A Ilbo), Jo Daun (Yonhap News), Kim Hyerin (YTN), Jang Suhyun (Hankook Ilbo), and Wi Ji-hye (Maeil Business Newspaper) will share vivid personal experiences related to the hiring process in the session titled 'This Is How I Prepared.'
The workshop is open to all regardless of gender, and those interested can refer to the Korea Women Journalists Association website for registration details.
