POSCO E&C 'The Sharp Ochang Prestige' First Priority Subscription on 25th
POSCO E&C announced on the 13th that it will begin full-scale sales of 'The Sharp Ochang Prestige,' being built at 814-2 Yangcheong-ri, Ochang-eup, Cheongwon-gu, Cheongju, Chungbuk.
Applications will start with special supply on the 21st, followed by first-priority applications on the 25th and second-priority on the 26th. Winners will be announced on the 6th of next month, and official contracts will be signed from the 17th to the 19th. Eligibility for first-priority applications requires a subscription period of at least six months to the subscription savings account, meeting deposit requirements by region and area, and applicants must be at least 19 years old nationwide. Both household heads, household members, and homeowners are eligible. The selection is 100% by lottery, with no restrictions on resale or re-winning.
The Sharp Ochang Prestige will be constructed with six buildings ranging from six basement floors to a maximum of 49 floors above ground, comprising a total of 869 units including 644 apartments and 225 officetels. Among these, 644 apartment units will be sold first. The units are divided by exclusive area as follows: 230 units of 99㎡, 138 units of 105㎡, 92 units of 117㎡, and 184 units of 127㎡.
The Ochang Science Industrial Complex, where the complex is located, is known as a hub for the secondary battery industry, with about 40 secondary battery companies concentrated around LG Energy Solution and EcoPro BM. Additionally, the development of a synchrotron radiation accelerator is underway with a target completion in 2027, which is expected to bring significant benefits.
The residential environment is also pleasant. Ochang Lake Park and Jintong Neighborhood Park are nearby, and various lifestyle and cultural convenience facilities such as Homeplus and Megabox are within walking distance in the commercial area. Medical facilities are planned within the complex. Transportation is convenient with the Jungbu Expressway Ochang IC, Asan-Cheongju Expressway Seo-Ochang IC, and Ochang-daero nearby, facilitating easy movement inside and outside Cheongju city. Within walking distance are Cheongwon Elementary School and Saengmyeong Elementary and Middle School, the largest urban integrated elementary and middle school in Chungbuk, and Gakri Middle School is also nearby.
From a design perspective, charging-type outlets for electric vehicle charging will be additionally installed on parking lot pillars, and the smart home service AiQ TECH will be applied. UV-C LED sterilization lighting will be installed inside elevators to eliminate fine viruses and bacteria. The community center will be richly equipped with a sports zone including fitness, GX room, indoor golf practice range, and table tennis room; an edu zone with a study room and book caf? (small library); and a public zone featuring a kids' room, a community care center, a senior citizens' center, and a guest house.
