Employees Volunteer for Environmental Cleanup of Gwangjucheon Stream
Gwangju Shinsegae Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Dong-hoon) is taking the lead in improving the local environment.
On the 13th, according to Gwangju Shinsegae, employees carried out a volunteer activity collecting scrap and trash around the Gwangcheon Bridge area along the Gwangju Stream.
This volunteer activity was promoted as part of ESG management to allow citizens to enjoy the Gwangju Stream in a pleasant environment.
Gwangju Shinsegae, a local corporation rooted in the region, has been continuously conducting social contribution activities such as cleaning the Gwangju Stream environment every year to create a pleasant street, centered on its employee volunteer group.
CEO Lee Dong-hoon said, “Since the Gwangju Stream is an important space for Gwangju citizens, we will maintain it clean through continuous nature protection activities,” and added, “We will continue to carry out various social contribution activities in which employees can participate.”
