Gwangju Buk-gu Hosts 'Childcare Golden Bell' Event for Fathers and Children
On the 13th, Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City announced that it will hold the 'Parenting Golden Bell' event with dads at the Buk-gu Bandabi Sports Center on the 16th.
The Parenting Golden Bell has been promoted by Buk-gu since 2020 to create a consensus on the roles and responsibilities of parents in raising children and to spread a parenting culture that the whole family can participate in.
This Parenting Golden Bell event will be attended by 50 households raising infants and toddlers, recruited earlier in August through daycare center promotions, where dads and their children answer questions together about childcare knowledge such as children's interests and birth policies.
The event, which begins with a congratulatory performance, will select one final winning team that rings the golden bell through preliminary and final rounds, and certificates will be awarded to the winning team as well as the top six outstanding teams.
Additionally, between the preliminary and final rounds, a play expert will conduct a play experience program to foster bonding between dads and their children.
