Yangcheon-gu Holds Certificate Presentation Ceremony for Mokdong Rodeo 'Alley-type Shopping District'
Yangcheon-gu (District Mayor Lee Gi-jae) announced on the 12th afternoon that it held a certificate presentation ceremony for the Mokdong Rodeo Alley-type Shopping District at the district office meeting room (5th floor).
An alley-type shopping district is a system that grants qualifications similar to traditional markets to areas within 2,000㎡ where more than 30 stores operated by small business owners are concentrated. Once registered as an alley-type shopping district, it receives support benefits for operation and environmental improvement, such as market management and facility modernization projects.
Selected in April for the merchant organization category of Seoul City's alley-type shopping district support project, Mokdong Rodeo achieved the result of being registered as the 3rd alley-type shopping district through a public-private cooperative effort, including business briefing sessions by commercial district, general meetings of the merchants' association, on-site inspections, and continuous data supplementation.
