Uiryeong-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 12th that it will hold a special event distributing ‘Rich Lottery’ during the Uiryeong Rich Rich Festival, which will take place from October 6 to 9 at Seodong Life Park and Sotbawi area.
The Rich Lottery can be received by presenting receipts from purchases made at local stores during the festival period or by getting a stamp at the festival venue.
The Rich Rich Festival, first held last year, attracted 100,000 visitors and became known as a festival that aims to share joy and convey the ‘energy of wealth.’ This year, the ‘Rich Rich Festival’ will be further upgraded as a ‘wealth event’ delivering luck and happiness.
During the festival, lottery tickets will be given upon presenting receipts for purchases such as goods or meals made within the area. One lottery ticket is given for 10,000 KRW spent, two tickets for 30,000 KRW, and three tickets for 50,000 KRW. Additionally, visitors can collect lottery stamps by visiting festival locations such as Sotbawi and tourist spots like the Insect Ecology Learning Center in Uiryeong. Visiting 5 places grants 1 lottery ticket, and visiting all 10 places grants 2 lottery tickets.
Scratching the Rich Lottery reveals a shower of lucky prizes. The 1st prize (1 winner) is a Ceragem robot vacuum cleaner, and the 2nd prize (2 winners) is a Ceragem massager. The 3rd prize, awarded to 600 winners, is a 10,000 KRW Uiryeong Love Gift Certificate given instantly. The 4th prize, symbolizing wealth and hope, is a ‘sunflower’ flowerpot given to 1,600 winners. The 5th prizes are banana shopping bags (2,000 winners) and sunflower headbands (3,000 winners), and the 6th prize is a Rich Rich Festival souvenir (15,000 winners).
