Lee Jae-myung, the leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, who has been on a hunger strike for 12 days, received a phone call from Kwon Yang-sook, the wife of the late former President Roh Moo-hyun.
According to the Democratic Party on the 11th, Lee had a phone conversation with Mrs. Kwon around 6:15 PM that day. Mrs. Kwon expressed concern during the call, saying, "I am very worried about your health in such an extreme situation as a hunger strike." In response, Lee said, "I am sorry for causing you worry," and added, "I am still okay."
